Have you ever had a mandarin grown in Placer County, California? This is gold country folks, and these mandarins truly are Placer Gold! Grown in Penryn, CA at the Colwell-Thundering Herd Ranch, these relatives of the orange are perfectly sweet, tart and have the most pleasant sharp limey-ness to them. Combine the juice from these gems with fresh & dried elderflowers, apple cider vinegar, white wine vinegar, golden balsamic vinegar, mandarin peel and turbinado sugar…and voila! You have a bright, sweet/tart syrup with a light floral-honeylike finish. We use it in place of tonic syrup or elderflower liqueur with tremendously yummy results! These 16oz bottles will make 16-20 sodas and up to 32 cocktails! All of our products are handmade in small batches with apple cider vinegar and turbinado sugar to assure maximum quality in flavor and healthfulness.
